INCREDIBLE!!!!! David Stone and his band sound exactly like the original.Clear, crisp, recognizable note for note authenticity!!!! I simply couldn't believe my eyes and ears!!! I've seen both Johnny Cash and David Stone in concert.....close your eyes and you'd have a hard time telling the difference!!

The show was great. Most notably, the song list (approx. 26-27 songs) was up tempo and high energy. The band was as good as or better than the real thing and sounded like they've been performing Cash songs for years. David Stone does a nice job of portraying JC and incorporates the same sense of humor that JC had. The highlights of the show were the performing of the songs "Orange Blossom Special" featuring the harmonica, and "Get Rhythm". The duets with Mia Johnson were great as well. I took my dad to see this show and he can't stop talking about it. He's a JC diehard. It's an experience he and I will never forget. Thanks for the treat and please come back.

What a performance! One of the best I have ever seen and didn't want the evening to end. It was very obvious that they truly enjoyed entertaining the crowd and even came off the stage and sang to the people sitting on the ground. The most impressive gesture was when David (Johnny) took time to seek out a woman sitting in a wheelchair and squeezed her hand in compassionate manner. My husband and I both started clapping, as we know how much that must have meant to her, as we, too, had a son in a wheelchair and it was very thoughtful that he took the time to care. David then came over to me, shook my hand and sang right in front of me. June and Johnny complimented each other very well as they sang and danced together. I have never been one to join the crowd and get up and dance, but his music and singing had me up on my feet dancing with the rest of them. Johnny and June stayed after the show to make sure all autographs had been signed and would not leave until they were. This experience was one of the best times I've had in a long time and thanks for the wonderful memory. What an impression he made on us. Other entertainers would be wise to take lessons from them. If I could give them 10 stars, I would. Great show.

What a great show! Not only was the music wonderful, but I also enjoyed the commentary between songs. The concert was at the White Clay Creek State Park, and had been rained out of its original date. The people clamored to reschedule the show, for good reason. I would definitely see The Johnny Cash Experience again.
“AT SAN QUENTIN” (CD BABY)

I was Astounded
AT SAN QUENTIN is a shining tribute to Johnny Cash and everything he stood for. Shame on the indie industry and johnnycash.com for not reviewing what is, to date, one of Stone's crowning moments.

What A Train Sound
Only David would have the brass to bring a convicted felon onstage to share a few moments of fun and fellowship. Richard Poma's "train" made him a big fish in a small pond in the eyes of his fellow inmates. Thanks for a trip back through history, Mr. Stone. L.

A Home Run
Nobody but David Stone cared enough about Cash's legacy to actually reach out to the very people he wrote his songs for. I defy you to compare Cash's original 1969 Album with this tribute by the Johnny Cash Experience. The energy, the love, and the camaraderie are the same.
